Connect to Conservation at Upcoming Workshop & Webinar

News & Announcements,

We are excited to return to our partnership programming with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as we present the next installment in the Connect to Conservation Collections Care Workshops Series.

There are two exceptional opportunities coming up to take your collections care craft to the next level:

Enjoy a free webinar on Tuesday, August 10 at 1:00pm to learn more about agents of deterioration from conservators with the VMFA. Topics will focus on aspects such as light, humidity, insects, and mold, and how to mitigate their impact on collection objects while both in storage and on display.

Advance your knowledge on Thursday, August 19 at our first full-day, in-person workshop of the season. We'll travel to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia where VMFA conservators will provide informative lectures, hands-on collections care training, and guide us on a special behind-the-scenes tour of the VMFA's Conservation Studios.
