The initial planning meeting serves to officially kick off the conference planning process in Fairfax County. We'll discuss such topics as roles and responsibilities, timeline, and whether the group wants to pursue a theme.
We'll also brake into the two working committees - Local Arrangements Committee that oversees events and Program Committee which assists with the educational content. The Program Committee will discuss the session selection process, brainstorm on potential keynote speakers, and set the date for the committee's in person meeting in August. The Local Arrangements Committee will discuss potential event locations and set a meeting schedule.
VAM's 2020 Annual Conference will be held in Fairfax County/Chantilly at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles on March 7-10, 2020.
