Nominations Open for Virginia's Top 10 Endangered Artifacts!
Museums and other collecting institutions are invited to apply for the 2019 edition of the Virginia's Top 10 Endangered Artifacts program. Nominations are being accepted through December 12.
This year, VAM will award $8,000 in conservation funding to the ten selected artifacts/organizations.

Our state features a wealth of historic and cultural treasures, and VAM's Top 10 program offers your organization a creative way to tell those stories while taking part in a fun competition among colleagues to secure funding for the object's conservation. Many of the past participating museums have leveraged their involvement to secure additional donations, press coverage, supporters, and more.
So start thinking about what fascinating items are in your collection that feature interesting stories and need conservation/preservation help and can engage the public to vote for your item in the public voting competition.
