The Hermitage Museum and Gardens is seeking a business-oriented Weddings and Events
Manager to manage and improve its facility rental services. The position is responsible for
responding to all inquiries about facility use for private events including weddings, corporate
events, and private parties. The position negotiates all contracts for events and ensures that all
details of each event are handled according to the standards set in the contract for events taking
place in a museum setting.
The manager oversees each event, hiring and managing attendants to assist. Meeting and
exceeding revenue goals, ensuring the flawless operation of each event, marketing the facility
appropriately, and working with museum staff on all museum projects are all part of the job.
Weekend and some holiday availability required.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience single-handedly
managing large weddings and events of all types.
