The Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc., the non-profit that owns and operates Monticello, is seeking a full-time office coordinator in our Education and Visitor Programs department. The Coordinator provides administrative support to the department with a focus on scheduling a staff of over 100 guides and volunteers for all visitor programs including guided tours, school programs, special programs, staffing of gallery and family spaces, among others. The Coordinator will also occasionally assist with administrative office duties by providing various communications to department staff, maintaining files, and providing basic office support such as processing mail, ordering supplies, and various other activities. The coordinator will also train to fill in occasionally in front line roles such as leading guided tours. Monticello staff are committed to working as part of a team to ensure an excellent guest experience. This position works a Sunday-Thursday schedule, 8:00 am 4:30 pm. Salary is $16+ hourly depending on experience.
