The Hermitage Museum & Gardens is a historic estate located on the bank of the Lafayette River in Norfolk, Virginia. Our unique combination of art, history, and nature provides a stunning backdrop for a variety of special events, most notably weddings. We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Wedding & Events Manager, contributing to the success of our events program and ensuring an exceptional experience for all our clients and guests.
Job Summary:
The Hermitage Museum & Gardens is looking for a Membership & Stewardship Manager in its development department. The job requires a creative, organized and detail-oriented person with non-profit experience in grant-writing, membership development and an in-depth knowledge of Donor Perfect and the MS Office Suite.
The Membership & Stewardship Manager maintains the donor database, creates monthly membership emails, fulfills memberships, processes donations, develops member incentives, and represents the development department during museum programs. This position also completes general operating and special project support grant applications.
Requirements:
3-5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Donor Perfect or similar constituent database
Strong writing and communication skills
Availability on some evenings and weekends
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for some periods of time
The starting salary is $60,000.
