Faye GOOLRICK, Certified Interpretive Planner (National Association for Interpretation), M.A. in history

I work with cultural and historic sites to create long-range interpretive plans (25+ plans for NPS so far), and I research and develop content and write interpretive texts and scripts for exhibits and multimedia for state and federal sites, history museums, destination tourism/visitor centers, trails, science and nature centers, etc. I often work as the subcontractor for content development on an exhibit design/fabrication team, or I work directly with the client institution (the DMO, the curatorial staff, etc.) needing to develop exhibit content. I've also done a lot of travel writing (Michelin Guides), which helps in this field! At last count, I had projects in at least 35 states and Puerto Rico. After many years in Atlanta, our family just relocated (home) to Lexington, VA. (I hold a BA in English from Hollins and a master's in history from UVA.)
