The Communication Coordinator coordinates VAM’s efforts to communicate effectively with members, prospective members, and the public.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate all communications and marketing efforts; responsible for outreach to diverse audiences including students, museum leaders, and businesses
- Working with other staff, maintain VAM’s website, keeping content accurate and up-to-date. This includes updating conference information, registrations, hotel, program, awards, nominations, sponsorships, scholarships, applications
- Resume reviews for VAM members
- Write and send out monthly e-blasts including news and announcements, advocacy, events
- Maintain VAM’s social media presence across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Gather analytics for the VAM website and social media activity and report on member communications and publications to the VAM council on a bi-monthly basis
- Monitoring Membership Email & Answering Inquires
Education: College Degree (required)
