Professional Bio
Michael Plumb is the Vice President for Education & Engagement at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture. In his role at the museum, Michael leads a team focused on Community Partnerships, Civics Education, History Education, Guest Engagement, and Public Programs. Prior to joining the VMHC in 2017, Michael held a number of roles at George Washington’s Mount Vernon including Manager of Digital Engagement and Manager of Program Development & Research.
Michael has a M.A. in History from George Mason University and a B.A. in History from Washington & Jefferson College.
