Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee Regional Meet-up

Join colleagues from across Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee for an afternoon and evening of learning, networking, and fun in historic downtown Bristol, VA on July 15. 

The gathering begins at 3:30 pm at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, where participants will enjoy a guided tour led by Rene Rodgers (PhD), Executive Director. Discover how the museum preserves and interprets the rich musical heritage that earned Bristol the title "Birthplace of Country Music." 

Following the tour, continue the conversation at Pins & Friends at 5 pm, where attendees can connect with fellow museum professionals over food, refreshments, and networking. Feeling competitive? Try your hand at duckpin bowling while building new professional relationships and sharing ideas with colleagues from across the region. 

We'll wrap up the evening at the Lumac at 6:30 pm, the rooftop bar at The Bristol Hotel, where participants can enjoy scenic views, relaxed conversation, and a chance to strengthen connections within Virginia's museum community.
