Annual Dues: There is no fee, but students must sign-up with their university e-mail and provide enrollment certification by sending a unofficial transcript to membership@vamuseums.org and enter their anticipated graduation date in their member profile.

This membership is designed for those who are interested in the museum field but do not have a membership through their museum or choose to support VAM through their dues.

Museum Membership includes institutions of all sizes and focus located in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia and is based on organizational budget. If you work for a museum that falls under a larger parent organization, check to see if your "parent" has a membership you can benefit from before you sign up.

Leadership Members have taken a step beyond traditional museum membership support by demonstrating their organization's commitment to the Virginia museum community. Our Leadership members pay it forward by allowing VAM to continue offering opportunities such as free student membership to any interested student. To show our appreciation, VAM will recognize its Leadership members on our website, in our annual report, and at our annual conference.

This is our upper-level membership category for businesses interested in being a part of the Virginia museum community and reaching our members. Business Plus membership in VAM is for the larger business interested in being featured in multiple ways in the Virginia and DC museum community.
