The Hermitage Museum is seeking a visionary Weddings and Events Manager to take its facility rental services to the next level. The position is responsible for responding to all inquiries about facility use for private events including weddings, corporate events and private parties. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience single-handedly managing large weddings and events of all types. The position negotiates all contracts for events, and ensures that all details of each event are handled according to the standards set in the contract for events taking place in a museum setting. The manager oversees each event, hiring and managing attendants to assist. Meeting and exceeding revenue goals, ensuring the flawless operation of each event, managing outside vendors, marketing the facility appropriately, and working with museum staff on all museum projects are all part of the job. Night and weekend availability is a must.
