Do you have some experience drafting written communications? Prince William County Government has an opportunity for an individual who has experience in these areas.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
In this role, you will spend most of your time developing graphic materials and collateral for the County Government and up to 32 County agencies to provide internal and external outreach about programs, events, initiatives, and projects. You will also support website development and maintenance; design graphic materials; assist with creating marketing materials, collateral and imagery; update and maintain intranet and internet sites; develop content and written communications for press releases, social media, newsletters, etc. and send notifications in the GovDelivery and Everbridge systems.

PREFERENCES:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Journalism, Mass Communications, Digital Marketing, Online Communications, Digital Communications or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience working in social media, web development/maintenance and written communications experience.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00/yr.
