The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is seeking a qualified individual to provide key marketing support to execute a comprehensive marketing plan during the 2019 Commemoration. This includes all aspects of American Evolution merchandise revenue generation program; AE Stories.com, storytelling platform which includes content curation, story sourcing and partner outreach; and, project management ensuring the integration of marketing and communications support for signature events/special exhibitions/education programs/statewide engagement.  This position will also provide critical support to the deputy director for contract management oversight and closeout.

Qualifications:  

-Ability to develop, revise, and execute marketing, program and merchandise plans and promotions. To include integration of various elements, i.e. sponsors, partners.

-Knowledge of relationship management and collaborative working environments.  Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of professionals, management staff, general public, and volunteers.

-Strong leadership and communication skills.  

-Knowledge of program & project evaluation methods.

-Demonstrated ability to work effectively both individually and as a team member.

-Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and changing work environment.  

-Skilled in oral and written communication techniques.

-Willingness and ability to travel.

-The successful candidate for this position would be committed to this position through the commemoration year.

-Demonstrated background and experience in strategic planning and execution of marketing plans.

-Knowledge of merchandising, its logistics and metrics.
