The University of Virginia seeks a Grants and Fellowships Coordinator to join the Virginia Humanities team.  The Grants and Fellowships Coordinator supports all phases of award administration to organizations and individuals associated with Virginia Humanities Fellowships and Grants programs. Activities include but are not limited to: entering, managing, and extracting data from the application/award database as needed; assisting in managing Grant and Fellowship announcement, application, and review cycles; and providing administrative support to critical functions related to financial awards, event promotion, and communications for these programs. Grants and Fellowships Coordinator collaborates and cross-trains with Community Initiatives and Business staffs to provides support for a cohort of current fellows and performs organization-wide duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must have an Associate’s degree with at least two years of grants and contracts experience.  Two additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Virginia Humanities offers a dynamic work environment and a wide array of statewide programming that will soon be managed from our new headquarters near downtown Charlottesville, in a facility specially outfitted for our unique work. We support a flexible work schedule, but fully remote work is not possible.
