Conference Pop-Up Sessions #VAM2018

 

New This Year!

 
Devoted to enliven the conference program, VAM's new one-hour Pop-Up Sessions will offer opportunities for colleagues to dive deeper into current trends or issues that may have "popped up" since the regular sessions were reviewed in the summer and not included in the current program.

 

Submissions should include a simple narrative of no more than 500 words that explains the purpose and content of the session, the intended audience, and how the session will proceed, although there is no suggested format. Since these are intended as conversation starters there will be no audio visual equipment provided in the meeting rooms but WiFi is supposed to be available. If your submission idea is a resubmission of a proposal that was not selected by the Conference Program Committee, please address the Committee’s suggestions in your Pop-Up proposal.  
 
Do you have a cool idea to share? Start thinking about what you'd like to add to the conference program. Pop-Up Session Applications will open January 29. Six entries will be selected from a crowdsourced vote of the membership between February 20-23.
