We’re excited to offer our first workshop on project management, featuring Martha Morris, Associate Professor Emeritus of Museum Studies at George Washington University and author of the new book, Managing People and Projects in Museums: Strategies that Work. With over 35 years in the museum field, including serving as Deputy Director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History, Morris will guide us in learning the basics and best practices of project management in the museum. From how projects are managed, how teams are formed, and the role of the project manager, participants will work on group problem solving, addressing common challenges in managing projects.

Speakers:

  • Martha Morris, Associate Professor Emeritus of Museum Studies, George Washington University
