Alert: Message from Robert Vaughan
You are probably aware that the House of Delegates has voted to eliminate all funding for the
Virginia Foundation for the Humanities – as of July 1, 2011. What you may not know is that VAM’s operating support comes from the VFH, and without that support VAM will be a far different organization than the one you have come to rely upon for professional development, resources, technical assistance, networking and leadership opportunities.  Call or email your state Delegate and Senator and urge them to continue funding the VFH.  Check: Who’s My Legislator?

Alert:
The House budget is also calling for reducing arts grants through the Virginia Commission for the Arts by 50 percent during FY11 and eliminating the Commission altogether at the end of FY12. Contact your Delegate. GO HERE FOR MORE.

Conference 2010: Register Online NOW.
